Florence, 2008

I received my PhD from Binghamton University in 1993, and I am currently a Professor at Westchester Community College.  In addition to teaching art history, I have also served as the Visual Arts Curriculum Chair (2001-2015) and Chair of the Arts Department (2012-2015)

Prior to my position at WCC, I spent many years teaching as an adjunct instructor in upstate New York, and in the New York metropolitan region.  During those lean years I supported my passion for teaching by working as a waitress — which, at the time, was a more lucrative profession than teaching!
